| Why didn't King Kai teach the other Z-fighters his techniques?; Such as Kaioken and Genki Dama. | |

Proposing that the humans wouldn't have the physicality and tolerance for a technique as rigorous as Kaioken sounds questionable at best. Here you have four fighters who have been exploring the vast expanses of the planet since early-late Dragon Ball, training as well as living in harsh conditions so they can build themselves up. Goku was already swimming across entire oceans come the beginning of the 22nd tournament. We know the humans underwent the same kind of naturalist regimen. On a more specific note, Tien trains at elevations that are visibly shown to retain a blanket of snow even during the warmest month of the year. At those altitudes you would have very little oxygen and a climate with temperatures well below the freezing point. To survive in something like that you have to increase the efficiency of your lungs and blood circulation. The others have probably undergone similar extremities at one point or another. All of this isn't to say that the humans are equally as physically resilient as the Saiyans. They're not. However, with the proper training and an advanced degree of ki control they should be able to easily match a Kaioken x20. Ideally raising it higher would be good since further multipliers would be required to compensate for heightened transformations and power boosts. |

Kaioken puts immense strain on the body. It's possible that the Human and even Namekian body can't handle it. Saiyans have insane durability. The humans are powerful, but they train at their own pace, it's possible all of their forms of training weren't nearly as taxing as kaioken.

Immense? The lower levels never seemed to beleaguer Goku as he was using them. It was only at the higher multipliers that his body was in danger. I can't imagine a fighter with a power level that dwarfs Goku's on Namek bearing any severe risks with a x20. This is what the Daizenshuu has to say about Kaioken. Kaio-Ken First Appearance: Chapter 226 Category: ki manipulation People: Son Goku Special Characteristics: A technique that instantly amplifies the ki inside one’s body, multiplying all that person’s abilities, including power, speed, defense, etc. Since it makes one capable of utilizing battle power many times their own ability, it is extraordinarily effective during battles with formidable opponents. However, because it is impossible to multiply excessively far beyond one’s abilities, experimenting with an unreasonably high Kaio-Ken might destroy one’s own body. When the user’s battle power is 8,000, their limit is x2, and when they are at 3 million the limit is x10. However, since real battles are harsh, Goku often had to use Kaio-Ken above those limits. (Daizenshuu 2, p.212/ Daizenshuu 4, p.113) What seems to be the crux of Kaioken's mechanics is amplifying the user's power beyond their normal capacity. I find it very difficult to believe that the current Super arc iterations of the humans and Piccolo couldn't handle even a basic Kaioken x2 when Goku with a power level of over 8000 could endure it with little issue. Plus, Toriyama already explained that the ki users have to augment their speed and power because their natural musculature has inherent limits. |

Probably because Toriyama felt it would make Goku less special if all his friends who trained under King Kai (sans Piccolo who just meditated there for 90% of his time) could pull a Kaioken or a Genki Dama and save the day instead of him. |

I don't think there's an in-universe reason why they didn't learn his techniques. Tbh, the two techiques Kaio-sama knows are not very useful in terms of actual combat. Kaioken has an extreme strain on the body and only Saiyans (and possibly namekians) would be able to use it for extended periods of time. I doubt the humans could learn how to use it properly and utilize it for an extended time. Genkidama is one of the most useless techniques in quick combat where versatiity is important. You need to use so much time to have a decent Genkidama to use on your opponent that distraction from other fighters become imperative. |

Honestly Kaioken could have been what the Humans needed to stay competitive with the Saiyans in the Cell/Buu arcs. Granted their training gains aren't the same as Saiyans/Namekians but I think the humans could have mastered the Kaioken to levels that even Goku couldn't reach like Kaioken X 30, 40, 50, etc. |

I wish it was so, maybe then the Super Saiyan palooza would have been somewhat reduced or maybe (by a miracle) STOPPED and thus the franchise wouldn't be turning into a "hair dye frenzy". |

IDK. I feel like the Earthlings/Piccolo would've been able to handle it given their proficiency with ki control. |

Well, to be blunt, if he has no idea what to do with a character, he pushes them into the background. Yeah, the Earthlings could have extended the limit of the Kaio-ken, allowing them to contribute in some manner, but at the end of the day, Toriyama just didn't care about Tenshinhan, Chaozu and Yamcha, and to a lesser extent, Kuririn. It's a shame to be sure, but it is what it is. |
